I did not participate last week, it has been crazy around here since Thanksgiving! I went on our annual Thanksgiving camping trip the week of Thanksgiving and it was AWESOME! It was well over due and JUST THE RIGHT camping weather! Of course, I did what I do best while camping......sitting by the fire curled up with an awesome book......
When I came back last week, I came back to a desk of catching up and so could not post last week either! I haven't really been able to play a lot in my art closet, so I will show you "MY CRAZY" for WOYWW!!!
Yep, this is what it has looked like for a couple of weeks! You can see a WHOLE LOT of supply that I have been just too stinking lazy to put up!! The paint palette is new, I had gotten it and the watercolor paints before the holidays and have not put up and the rest is pretty much inks, embellishments, papers and bum tags that I just haven't thrown in their proper bins!
Now, I want you to get a good look at that desk because virtually the "small" space on the craft mat is the only area I have to work because a) all that crafty supply is on top of my table and b) all that supply is there because I have NOWHERE else to put it! LOL So, after two long years of hem hawing about making this purchase, I FINALLY decided to by myself this wonderful goody for myself as an early Christmas gift!! Yippeee for me! :) Now, the initial one I was looking at was the uber turquoise one that everyone has, but it was like $60, which is why I have been looking at it for two years! LOL But this wonderful cinnamon one I got for $25! HUGE difference!!! So next time you see my table all the goodies will be in my new IKEA Cart! I'll have ELBOW ROOM!!! YAYYYYYY!!!!
As I am the "ultra OCDer (is that a word?)," I had to clean up a tad because want to get cracking on my December art challenges! So after I cleaned up, this is what is now on my desk! LOL
I have turned over my tag that I am working on for Tag It Tuesday over on our Facebook Group and then I will get started on my journal challenge and my ATC challenge for the Pick A Stick Challenge for December! Come on over and join in with us for those great challenges! Love seeing everyone's creativity!
Well I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday and awesome rest of the week!! I will leave you with a few more pictures from our GLORIOUS camping trip! If you've never been camping, I encourage you to give it a go! There is NOTHING like being out in God's great big beautiful world with friends and loved ones! It's a blessing!

Hi Felicia, glad you had such a great time camping. That's an amazing trailer. Look forward to seeing your finished sparkle and shine tag. Sarah #9
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah! :) We LOVE our trailer! My sister says we don't camp, we RV! LOL Call it what you want to, we camp! LOL I hope to post my Sparkle and Shine tag this week! Thanks for stopping in! Have to get around to everyones blogs....I'm running late today! :) Blessings to you!
DeleteHi Felicia. AMEN!!! How true - there is indeed nothing like getting out into God's wonderful world and seeing places with friends and family. Love the caravan/trailer... it's one that goes behind a truck and has a huge circular connection, isn't it? We don't see so many like that over here. We rather go for the standard caravan pulled behind a car.
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.
Margaret #4
Margaret, yes it is what they call a Fifth Wheel over here in the States! We had a standard caravan for the first 3 or 4 that we had, but then we wanted a Fifth Wheel this time for the room! We always have a bundle of teenagers going with us when we go, so we needed the room! Thank you for stopping! Blessings to you as well!: )
DeleteHi Felicia, I've been having a similar idea to make more space on my desk. The new cart looks great. Have a lovely crafty woyww, Angela x12x
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Angela!! It's been a mess for years! I have such a small space (its in my walk in closet), so I have to find very creative ways to organize! But I really needed more space to create, it was getting crazy messy and closed in! So now I hope to get all that craziness in my new cart! Thanks for stopping in! Blessings to you! :)
DeleteHi Felicia, looks like such a fun and fantastic trip, beautiful pictures! Love your desk and all those creative goodies!
ReplyDeletehappy Woyww
Victoria #32
Oh thanks so much Victoria! It was a GREAT trip!! Don't we just love our goodies!! LOL Thank you so much for stopping in! :) Blessings
Deletegreat pics from your trip - hope you get to enjoy your craft stash now Helen #1
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Helen! :) Thanks for stopping in! Blessings
DeleteYour trip looked fun the RV looks amazing.. What a wonderful way to get away from it all and spend precious time with loved ones... love the cart for your crafty space... Happy WOYWW... May #3
ReplyDeleteThank you May! We have so much fun in our amazing home away from home! It has been the best money spent for getting our "teen" girls out of the house and spending time with their "uncool" parents! LOLOL Can't wait to get my cart all organized! Thanks for stopping in! :) Blessings
DeleteThat new cart will be fantastic for keeping loads of stuff tidy - and yes, OCDer is definitely a word, lol! I have to keep my desk tidy when I'm sewing as it drives me nuts if I have to keep stopping to shift unwanted stuff out of the way.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics from your camping trip - my hubby and I used to camp a lot in tents when we were younger, I remember being in the middle of nowhere in Scotland where the Milky Way seemed so close you could just reach up and grab a star :-D
Hugs LLJ 10 xxx
Jan, so glad I can claim OCDer as an actual word!! LOLOLOL Mainly because I have a VERY BAD case of it......according to my kids anyway! LOLOL I know what you mean about the shifting the unwanted stuff around......it drives me nuts too! Kind of like when you were a kid and you kept shoving the veg around the plate as if it would go away! LOLOL Ohhhhhh I am so COMPLETELY jealous about your Scotland camping trips! That would be a dream for me for sure! There is nothing like tent camping and here in the States you would get that same kind of feeling out in the west where I claim its God's country! LOL Camping is my heart! Thanks so much for stopping in, blessings to you!: )
DeleteLooks like “glamping” as it is called Downunder rather than camping Felicia. I think you’re right about it being the best holiday. :-D
ReplyDeleteGreat trolley too.
Thanks for sharing your inspiration!

{Calligraphy Cards - Shaz in Oz}
Too funny Shaz!! I have heard it called that too!! I would love to be doing that camping under the stars Downunder! What a treat that would be! :) Thanks for the love on my trolley! We LOVE it! Its about our fifth one and this time we got the one "hubby" wanted! LOL I guess I can let him win sometimes! LOL He did good though because its been my fave so far! :) Thanks for topping in and many blessings to you!: )
DeleteSo pretty. November is a great month to go camping. I have been eyeing those carts too but haven't made the purchase due to cost but your cheaper cart is awesome! Have a wonderful week. Dorlene #29
ReplyDeleteSame Dorlene! The price has been ridiculous, but I think its mainly the turquoise one, which is the one that everyone seems to want the most....like me! LOL But when I saw the cinnamon one for $25, I thought WOW, I couldn't pass that up! So it's not turquoise, cinnamon is just as pretty! And HALF the price! November and December are wonderful months to camp....BUT REALLY, ANY TIME is great camping for me! I hope to make it full time when I retire! Thanks for stopping by and you have a great weekend! Blessings
DeleteYour camping looks like heaven! I've not camped in a camper van since the 70's! Of course, the first question that comes to mind is - what are you reading? LOL! Your IKEA cart looks awesome, I will go now and check it out - I might want one too! Thanks for your lovely comment, and yes, the advent calendar is very special, more so since my Dad passed in 2001. I will pass on your meows to Inky! Have a great week, Lindart #34
ReplyDeleteOhhhh my that has been awhile! LOLOL We went to a campground one time and they had a whole slew of vintage camper vans from the 60's and 70's and there was a MINT VW Van decked out in the 70's style and I could have busted something! LOVED IT! Ok, so now on to more important things.......LOL......I am reading The Mortal Instruments Series!!! If you like Sci Fi/Fantasy/YA books....IT'S THE BOMB!!! Love this series!!! Anything in that realm or category, I'M THERE! I think you SHOULD give yourself the lovely Rascog cart for Christmas as well! We ALL deserve a goodie now and then! LOLOL Blessings for you as you remember your father this Christmas! I love that you have that little part of him to embrace every year! I have three crazy cats at home that would love to play with Inky!! Thanks for visiting Linda! Many Christmas hugs to you!: )
DeleteThat looks like my kind of trip! I spend so much of any holiday dashing here and there and really I would love to just relax by a fire like that and read my books.
ReplyDeleteYour photos remind me of those my sister in Oz sends me when they go away in their trailer - bliss!
Enjoy what you can whilst you can and that includes your trolley (like the colour of it btw).
Hugs & Thanks for visiting me - Neet 11 xx
Yes Neet, holiday time for YEARS was chaotic, but some years ago, we decided to start just going off on THanksgiving and it has been Heaven ever since! We love to camp. In addition my brother and sister-in-law also go in their camper and we make it a family affair that way!! As long as I have a fire to sit by and my book I am good! :) Thanks for stopping by! Blessings!
DeleteFelicia! We seem to be missing each other on WOYWW! Wherever you take part, I can't! Such a shame! Yippee for your Ikea cart - $25 is an absolute steal - and you know what, you can always paint it teal. I've seen some people online spray paint it all sorts of colours. I bought mine just a few months ago and I was amazed just how much stuff I can store in it. Lovely photos of your camping trip. Looks so idyllic! Hey, that is a monster of a vehicle - it must be like driving a truck around, LOL! You couldn't negotiate the narrow lanes around here for sure, but you've got so much more space in the US. Enjoy your weekend I hope one day soon we'll manage to do WOYWW both at the same time! xx
ReplyDeleteI know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate when that happens!!! I'm hope to be posting this week, so maybe we can meet up girl!!!!! Yayyyyy for my IKEA cart!! Right?????? It is a steal!!! I have never seen them for $25!! I think the catch is that it wasn't the coveted "turquoise/teal" cart! But the cinnamon is just fine for me and actually matches my decor at home! I have heard so many folks say the same thing about the storage, so I CAN'T WAIT, because I really need desk space! Sooooo looking forward to it! Our trip was the best! We LOVE camping and I'd go every weekend if I could! Love my outdoors for sure! We are very blessed with our camper! It is just beautiful and more than I could ask for! I can't drive that big old boy!! LOLOL My hubby has to do that!! I wish I felt safe about doing it, but I think I will just leave it up to him! LOLOL Thanks for coming by Zsuzsa, I always look forward to your stopping in! Makes my day! :) Blessings and hope to see you Wednesday!: )
DeleteA gal after my own heart! Camping on Thanksgiving- We need to try that except our parks all close labor day "(
ReplyDeleteAre you really creating in a closet? or are you joking me? And I am so jelli about your cart- I love it!! I have been wanting one as well! Good for you sister!
Have a beautiful Sunday my dear friend!
Jackie xo
I can't believe all of your parks close after Labor Day!! Where would we be?????? Some of the best camping is in the fall and winter!! Our two ANNUAL trips are a week at Thanksgiving and a Week at New Years!! We have a ball! Of course we go a week at Spring Break and then during the summer here and there.......basically...I need NO excuse to go camping! LOLOLOLOL
DeleteI am not kidding about my art closet!!! I have a walk-in closet and one end is my Bible Study area with my altar that my hubby built and then the other end is my art area and in between are clothes!!! LOLOL My dream is to have a little art shack, but it is yet to be. My husband used to have a cabinet business and we have a couple of out buildings that used to hold all of his supply. I want to convert one of them into my art shack but he hasn't relented yet. I'm still working on him, but he does a little on the side still and "claims" he still needs them!! :( It's starting to get tight in my closet, which is why I have been wanting the cart to have more storage space. I couldn't fit one more plastic storage container in there if I tried!! the cart at least I could move around. I've bided my time on that cart and I am so glad that I did since I found it at such a great price. I can live with it not being the exact color I want for that great price!
You are such a sweetheart Jackie! I was talking to my mom about you on Sunday and she thought you were so pretty and she really digs Chum!!! Don't we all! :)
Blessings to you my wonderful friend!: )
